GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 611664
window size problems
Last modified: 2013-03-06 20:45:18 UTC
When switching from a tab that has vim running editing a text file where the font has been enlarged, to other tabs the size of those other screens are reduced. If you go to the last screen and resize that one all the other screens resize to that size. Example say I open terminal and create 5 tabs all the same size. I start vim to edit a file and enlarge the font for easy reading. I then switch to another tab and that window size is reduced. Resizing and switching back to the larger font vim tab and back to another tab causes the screen size of the other tabs to be reduced again. And again to resize all the screens back to the "large" size the best way to resize all the screens is to resize the last created tab screen then they are all that size again. --- This is Fedora 12 distribution 2.28.2 ------------------------------------------------------------------ I love the Terminal.. I wish I could save my current terminal just as I left it when i need to shut down the machine.. Any chance of that being added? If not that then a way to restore the tabs and the directories they were related to? Thanks for a wonderful terminal program. Ernst
