Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Particularly debuginfo packages of rhythmbox and gstreamer

Sounds like a problem with Bug Buddy in that case.

It might be better if it didn't file reports that weren't of any use to the developers. You should probably file a report with them.

> Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols?

Nope. I haven't seen this crash before, and I have no idea how to reproduce it, or if I'll ever see it again.
Comment 3 Akhil Laddha 2010-03-02 08:04:35 UTC
Are you sure you have debuginfo packages of rhythmbox and gstreamer installed in your system ?
Comment 4 Jonathan Matthew 2010-03-02 10:10:13 UTC
Sometimes bug reports without debug symbols are useful enough.
