Description boh3ma 2010-01-28 16:56:15 UTC
Podcast plugin doesn't work with feeds from podbean.com. Neither RSS nor Atom.

1. Copy podcast feed link.
2. Paste it in the box ( i.e http://bash.podbean.com/feed/ or http://theimightyhutch.podbean.com/feed/)
3. Click subscribe. Nothing happens.

I also have this problem with Banshee version 1.7.3, with the same steps to recreate.
Comment 2 Ben Bromley 2010-07-26 17:14:11 UTC
I also ran the feed (http://girlsinthecheapseats.podbean.com/feed/) through feedvalidator.org and it came back as a valid RSS feed.

Debug log

Started Banshee with "banshee-1 --debug --debug-sql --debug-addins --redirect-log && cp .config/banshee-1/log bgo608354.log", went to the podcast screen, attempted to add "http://girlsinthecheapseats.podbean.com/", and then quit banshee.

Sorry, I attempted to add "http://girlsinthecheapseats.podbean.com/feed/"

Comment 7 Ben Bromley 2010-08-05 18:45:42 UTC
A temporary fix that works is to create a new RSS feed using feedweaver.net. After you create a new RSS feed from the podbean feed, the podcast downloads fine.
