Description Ken 2010-01-27 12:47:24 UTC
When using GnuCash with SQL, are backup copies made? Where are they stored? Can one roll-back the database?

Some possible suggestions:
(1) If timestamps were added to database entries, one could roll-back their account by deleting all rows after a particular time.
(2) It would also be nice if in the File menu there were an option to "Backup" to a file. This might be an SQL dump to a file or converting the database to XML for a backup.
(2.1) Could you add a simple dialog for manually creating backups?
(2.2) Could you add options to take automatic backups to a file (perhaps every x minutes or every time GnuCash is closed/opened)?

Just some ideas...
