Description Volker van Nek 2010-01-23 13:29:21 UTC
Hi, great to have gedit on Windows!

I just installed gedit on XP SP2 (using the precompiled exe-files) and found that the external tools plugin is not available. No matter if I install 2.29.2, 2.29.3 or 2.28.3.

In C:\Programme\gedit\share\gedit-2\plugins\
there is \externaltools\tools\ and \externaltools\ui\ with some files
but in C:\Programme\gedit\lib\gedit-2\plugins\
there are lots of *.gedit-plugin files but no externaltools.gedit-plugin.
Maybe you can use this information.

Is it possible to add plugins like I can do in e.g. Ubuntu?

Thanks for working on gedit
Volker van Nek
