Description Peter Robinson 2010-01-10 09:03:55 UTC
It would be nice for the emerillon map viewer app to have a snazy app icon :-) as it currently uses the default gnome icon.
Comment 1 Pierre-Luc Beaudoin 2010-01-10 18:30:04 UTC
Sure, that's why I put up an art request when I released Emerillon 0.1. http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/ArtRequests/issue34 It is in "In progress" state since ever.

I wrote to the guy and he sent me a preview, I liked it and he said he'd make an svg of it soon.

I guess we should ask again for an icon or use the one proposed on the above link
Comment 3 Pierre-Luc Beaudoin 2011-07-27 15:15:27 UTC
I am surprised to see some activity here :)
Comment 4 Łukasz Jernaś 2011-08-20 13:11:01 UTC
Pierre-Luc, seems like you're more alive than I am :/
I'll aks Hylke again if he remembers that promised icon...
Comment 5 Alexandre Franke 2013-03-28 19:09:20 UTC
Still no news from the designers?
Comment 6 André Klapper 2018-07-01 08:51:59 UTC
Emerillon is not under active development anymore and has not seen code changes for many years.
Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/emerillon/commits/master

The project has been superseded by GNOME Maps: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Maps

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
