GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 605995
Terminology "Replace Disc" and "Erase Disc" unclear in dialog displayed when disc has content
Last modified: 2018-09-21 16:58:12 UTC
When attempting to burn a disc, if the disc has content already, Brasero displays a dialog saying that, with options "Replace Disc", "Cancel", and "Erase Disc". This terminology seems unclear. "Replace Disc" apparently means "Eject the disc so I can put in a new one", not "Replace the contents of the disc". "Erase Disc" doesn't obviously mean "erase current contents and burn new contents". I'd suggest changing "Replace Disc" to "Change Disc" or "Eject Disc", and changing "Erase Disc" to "Overwrite Disc". Originally reported to Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/561738
