Eject and blank disks
Last modified: 2010-08-19 05:01:18 UTC
These bugs were reported here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/500610 Both problems do not occur (for me at least) in Jaunty/nautilus-2.26.2-0ubun [problem] No "eject" context-menu option for blank disks [steps to reproduce] When I right-click a non-blank disk, I get "unmount" and "eject" options. When I right-click a blank disk, I only get "unmount". [problem] Clicking eject icon in nautilus doesn't work for blank disks. [steps to reproduce] 1. Insert a blank disk and it's recognized as such. 2. Open Nautilus in browser mode (Ubuntu default) 3. Click the "eject" icon next to the disk on the sidebar What happens: The working directory in Nautilus changes to /home/$USER What should happen: Disk should be ejected [more info] ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Dec 26 21:31:20 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) Package: nautilus 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-16.53-generic-pae SourcePackage: nautilus Uname: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic-pae i686
