GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 605477
please upgrade to Unicode 5.2
Last modified: 2009-12-26 22:19:08 UTC
Forwarding http://bugs.debian.org/554776 Unicode 5.2 was released recently and I'm guessing it will be the last release before the freeze for Debian squeeze in March and Ubuntu lucid in February. It would be nice if gucharmap 2.8.x could support Unicode 5.2 for squeeze/lucid. PS: unicode-data 5.2.0-1 is already in Debian squeeze and Ubuntu lucid, it would be nice if a rebuild or even just restarting gucharmap would pick up the new version of Unicode. In Debian we have libuninameslist that could be linked against if parse times are a concern.
