Description lexual 2009-12-11 03:28:41 UTC
Assigning a keyboard shortcut to Suspend under "keyboard shortcuts" in gnome-control-center doesn't work correctly.

Steps:
* assign a shortcut to Suspend
* Press the keyboard shortcut.
* screen goes blank but the system isn't suspended, and the session isn't locked.

Expected behaviour:
System suspends to ram.

Note that suspending to ram via gnome-power-manager or System->ShutDown works perfectly.

I am using Fedora 12.

The reason I am reporting this bug in gnome bugzilla and not fedora's is that this same bug seems to be visible in ubuntu
