GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 603778
Cannot use super in arbitrary keybindings
Last modified: 2011-07-11 14:11:37 UTC
In metacity I used to use super-c for close, super-f for fullscreen, super-arrows for moving between workspaces. Now that I'm trying gnome-shell, super-arrows works but super-c isn't handled.

un-duped the other bugs since they are primarily a gnome-shell issue, while Super+C would have to be primarily a mutter issue
I've observed the same behaviour, except in my case I prefer binding close to <Super>, rather than <Super>c I notice that if I set the gconf setting /apps/mutter/general/overlay_key to the empty string, then logged out and back in, my Super-based keybindings resumed working.

Dup'ing on a newer bug since it has patches *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 624869 ***
