Description Russ 2009-11-28 08:02:19 UTC
I've recently upgraded Ubuntu to 9.10 (Karmic), and so moved from Pidgin to Empathy as my main IM client. One feature I miss from Pidgin is the option to open a chat window when a contact sends me a message.

I've missed incoming chats because I wasn't near the screen, so didn't see the notification. Having a chat window open automatically would solve this, and be useful, since I'd be able to reply immediately without having to open a chat window.
