Description Leonardo C. 2009-11-27 12:58:00 UTC
It's not really an Evolution bug, sorry. I hope I won't get killed over this.

The problem is postgresql8.4 installation messing up certain libraries and rendering other applications unable to function, among them Evolution Mail. This is happening on Ubuntu Karmic(9.10)

This is EXACTLY my problem, same output and everything:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/461105
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8386882

So I came here to know if someone would know a fix which doesn't involve uninstalling either Evolution or Postrgres.

Best regards,
Leonardo.

If it's not an Evolution bug how could it possibly be a GNOME blocker?

Setting severity to something sane.

Closing as NOTGNOME since this is an Ubuntu-specific issue.
