Description Sebastien Bacher 2009-11-23 15:09:08 UTC
LOCALMODLIBS is not supposed to be used there, it's not useful and break build
with newer python versions

What are "newer python versions"? I just built latest rhythmbox release with
python 2.6.4 and all was fine.

I'm guessing it depends how your python was built. In most of the python installs I can see from here, LOCALMODLIBS is empty. In the ones where it isn't (python 2.6 on debian sid and ubuntu karmic), it amounts to '-lz', which seems to be redundant.
