Description Dan Winship 2001-09-09 16:25:26 UTC
related to the sawfish-workspace-switching bug:

if you run evolution over a remote X connection, it will tend to steal
focus from you a lot, because if you move the cursor over the remote
evo window and then into another (local) window, the second window will
immediately claim the focus (with the correct timestamp), and then after
the events propagate to the remote machine and back, the remote window
will claim focus *with the WRONG timestamp* and end up stealing the
focus back from the window that's supposed to have it.

Is this problem still there?
Comment 3 Dan Winship 2003-10-06 11:38:12 UTC
it was definitely still there in GNOME 2.2. AFAIK it's still there in 2.4 but I
haven't looked at the code.
Comment 4 Kjartan Maraas 2009-09-01 19:30:03 UTC
Closing this as WONTFIX now.
