It would be a very nice feature to pause the hamster when the user is getting idle (or locks his desktop) instead of stopping it. After unlock it should be reactivate the last activity automatically.

Would be a possible solution for

thanks for the report.
Such solution, however, will lead to mind bending statistics - if now it is 3pm, then why the task that start at 1pm has been only going on for ten minutes.

right now you can resume the task you were doing before by double-clicking on it in the day view. in means of accessibility it is as good as pause/resume, if not even better.
