This bug is about the "remember position" feature for DVDs, as bug 164918 was for normal files.

For resuming DVD playback, we would probably need to save the title/chapter, position within that, as well as selected language and subtitles.

That'd be enough for most DVDs, but won't get you "special feature", say, "follow the white rabitt" on the matrix DVD because we wouldn't be saving enough state from libdvdnav.

This could be fixed by adding functionality to libdvdnav to dump its current state machine to dump, and being able to re-read it (possibly versioning it, and adding some code to be able to retro-fit older versions of the saves with newer versions of the library). Except nobody wrote that code...
