Description Ryan LaBelle 2009-11-06 18:25:24 UTC
When chatting on the AIM protocol I have found occasionally certain users give this automated reply message:

"Your IM has been sent to my mobile device. When I receive it, I will be able to reply. Thanks for your IM! Want your IMs forwarded to your phone? Click here (http://mobile.aol.com/mobileaim/forwardims)"

I find it annoying to try to speak to users while they are not actually there. I suggest following Trillian and Pidgin's leads on this one and add some kind of indicator to the contact list that shows which users are on mobile currently. It could be a line of text in the window [like Contact_Name (Mobile)], or an icon added to the contact.

This indicator should also appear on the chat window now that I think about it.

I know AIM supports or reports this form of connectivity, others might as well.

Thanks for your bug report. I'm closing it as a dup of bug 547658 as that's the
same issue.
