Fabio: this issue talks specifically of _export_ while bug #600530 is about svg import. Both just being sparse does not make them duplicate.

Richard: AFAIK there is no way to reflect rhe connections (links?) in SVG at all. But maybe I misunderstood your request. What 'links' are you talking about?
