Screenshot of Bug/Problem

Sorry I cannot find how to give the version of Gnome-Shell.
Running RC of Ubuntu 9.10.

When attempting to use app launcher run box(alt+f2)the text size is so small as
to be unreadable.

Every attempt to change font size, dpi, etc does nothing.

Another thing is that is hard to notice the dialog on a black background (i.e. xterm). There should be a border or something to make it stand out.
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2010-03-11 21:02:00 UTC
Can this still be reproduced? The implementation has changed significantly since last October (as of comment #1 - that one should be fixed as well)

I have this issue as well (or at least something very similar). I'm running Ubuntu 10.04, fully up-to-date and with the gnome-shell from the PPA. The font size is tiny when I click on the calendar, or do a right click in the Activities menu.

Attaching screenshot.
Comment 5 Giovanni Campagna 2012-09-06 21:17:14 UTC
We did not change font sizes since the last comment on this bug, but we fixed the problem with font scaling factor not being applied, so now enabling large text will affect all shell UI.
I'm therefore closing this fixed.
