GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 599163
Should use ContactCapability to get A/V caps
Last modified: 2010-01-14 13:57:05 UTC
Empathy should use the new ContactCapability API instead of the old one when checking if contacts supports audio/video features.
Ideally we should wait that all CM's implement it or fallback to the old API if they don't. Butterfly bug: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24045 tp-sofiasip doesn't implement the old capability iface so I guess it's fine.
I have a branch implementing this but it's based on the branch fixing bug #599164.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
