GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 599045
visualisation stops when skipping forward or backwards in an mp3
Last modified: 2011-05-26 21:39:09 UTC
this report has been filed here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/455537 "Visualisation stop after rewinding/forwarding an mp3, both when using the time slider and the keyboard left and right keys." could be this somewhat related to bug 583255 ? Thanks in advance!,
playbin2 bug I would gather.
I also have the same problem with ogg vorbis files.
Does this still happen with the latest releases of everything? Does it only happen when enabling visualisations during playback or also when the visualisations are enabled from the beginning?
I would try to confirm this but I can't get the visualization to show instead of the album art. If I could figure that out I would gladly test it.

Using: Totem Movie Player 2.32.0 Movie Player using GStreamer 0.10.30 This bug no longer seems to happen.
