Description Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2009-10-15 14:25:54 UTC
Before this revision, Epiphany recognized GTK_IM_MODULE and set input method for every textbox correctly, changing input method from urlbar also affected all textboxes. Since this revision, it seems input method is set to default input method, no way I can change it to XIM or Vietnames VIQR.
Comment 1 Xan Lopez 2009-10-15 14:33:34 UTC
That revision was reverted, and committed later but modified. What revision are you using exactly? And in any case, this bug should be opened in bugs.webkit.org, not here.
Comment 2 Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2009-10-15 14:41:15 UTC
I'm rebuilding latest Webkit version now (and may take more than hour). I thought of submitting to bugs.w.o but not sure if the old behaviour was expected. It never feels like IM is well supported since I can't choose IM from a textbox like other Gtk+ apps.
Comment 3 Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2009-10-15 15:52:19 UTC
Tested with revision 49623. The bug remains. I will continue to bisect, but my machine is slow... Do you want me to open bug in bugs.webkit.org?
Comment 4 Xan Lopez 2009-10-15 15:56:40 UTC
No need to bisect, I'm pretty sure r48964 broke it. Yes please, open a bug there and CC me (xan.lopez@gmail.com) and martin.james.robinson@gmail.com.

I'm closing this one, thanks for the report.
