The Menu access key T is used both for the Terminal and Tabs menus. When Alt+T is pressed either the Terminal or the Tabs menu open (it seems like the opened menu cycles, i.e. Alt+T opens Terminal, next time Alt+T opens Tabs, then the third time Terminal is opened).

Changing either to another letter than T (and which isn't used already by the other menus) would be the fix.
