Created attachment 145304 [details] [review] patch for option enable/disable ugly arrow patch allow to disable ugly arrow in menu button of gnome panel via gconf setting "has_arrow" of menu-button object.
Looks like a dupe of bug 562247 , but this includes a patch :-/

In Ubuntu Natty we have moved to a different layout in the gnome-session and the arrow on the logo does not look good. Damir, for your patch, It applies to 2.30.x and removes the arrow but there is no gconf key visible in the gconf-editor to toggle the arrow.

Review of attachment 145304 [details] [review]: This patch targets GConf instead of GSettings. The patch needs to be changed to GSettings.
