Description Marcus Dillavou 2009-10-06 18:57:54 UTC
I have several email addresses, which all get forwarded to a single address. When I reply to an email, I expect the From address in the reply, to use the To address in the original email. In previous versions of Evolution (<= 2.26), as long as I had an account setup (with None as the incoming server), evolution would also pick the correct address to use in the reply.

When upgrading to version 2.28, this no longer happens. Evolution always uses the single address that all the mail is forwarded to.

Steps to Reproduce:

Out side of evolution:

1. Setup main email address (home@blah.com)
2. Setup another address (work@blah.com) that forwards to main email (home@blah.com)

Inside of evolution:

1. Setup imap for home@blah.com
2. Setup account with None incoming for work@blah.com
3. Recieve email to work@blah.com which comes through the home@blah.com server
4. Press Reply

Results:

Reply address is home@blah.com

Expected results:

Reply address should be work@blah.com since the email was sent to work@blah.com
