this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/442183

"Expected Behavior:
When choosing the eject option under the file menu in a nautilus windows browsing a cd the folder should drop back to the /media folder after CD is ejected.

Actual:
Eject is completed and the cd folder is still open but obviously files are inaccessible.

Steps to Reproduce:
Insert CD
Open folder through desktop icon
Click file -> eject
CD pops out
Folder is still visible"

Thanks,

confirmed, the issue happens only when the mount is in fstab and the directory used to mount the disk not cleaned on eject

Should certainly not go to /media. That location is meaningless and isn't even used any more. It should go to either the last used location or the default location. If it doesn't do something sensible like that please open a new bug.
