Description Lennart Poettering 2009-10-01 17:20:17 UTC
I am currently playing around with a couple of devices that have really crappy friendly names. Low-level bluetoothd supports an "alias" feature to rename a bt device, so that the user can pick a better name. Would be nice if there was some way to configure that in gnome-bluez.

An example implementing this is in the bluez git tree:

./test-device alias 00:0D:44:85:66:35 "waldo"
