Description Sam Morris 2009-09-28 13:06:04 UTC
Since the upgrade to the new bugzilla, the 'my bugs' search doesn't show NEEDINFO bugs. The user needs to know how to do an advanced search to find out that they have bugs in that state.

I guess if describeuser.cgi comes back then this bug could be fixed. Otherwise, can the default 'my bugs' search be changed so it works for the perspective of a bug reporter? My suggestion is to display all open bugs, grouped by status, and the most recent 10 (20?) closed bugs. Don't know if the last bit is possible without modifying bugzilla though.

It would also be nice to have a way to track bugs that were resolved as duplicate bugs... maybe if a user's bug was resolved as a duplicate of another open bug, then it should show up in the search results, grouped with the open bugs, like this:

12346 nor Nor All SomeProduct UNCO (normal open bug summary)
12345 nor Nor All SomeProduct RESO DUPLICATE (Duplicate bug summary)
resolved as duplicate of 23456: (duplicate bug summary)
12347 nor Nor All SomeProduct UNCO (normal open bug summary)

this is, inline but on a separate line

Thanks for your report, the current 'My Bugs' link is just a temporary measure
before describeuser.cgi gets back. It will have links to NEEDINFO bugs (work
happens in bug 591936).
