Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 576258 ***
This may in fact be the same stack trace as the bug you duped it against, but if you follow the dup trail, you end up with a bug that claims to have been fixed in mozilla and/or the totem plugin. This bug clearly still exists and does not have anything to do with mozilla or totem. I offered a 100% reliable way to reproduce it with epiphany 2.28.0, so this bug or its duplicate should really be reopened so that the problem can be fixed.
Reopening per comment #2.
FWIW, I can't reproduce the problem.
I can't reproduce this bugs
hm, I guess it's not 100% reproducible then. I just tried it again and indeed there were a couple of times that dropping the tab in the location bar did not produce a crash. But most of the time it did. It's possible that the bug is dependant on things such as: a) whether there is any text in the location bar, b) whether the tab is empty or contains a loaded page, c) whether the tab being dragged is still loading its contents when the drop happens. I haven't been able to narrow down the exact recipe yet, but it seems quite easy to reproduce for me.

i can reproduce; my steps are, open 5 tabs for 5 sites, not blank site, then drag an address bar, and freeze and crash. the trace is: (gdb) bt full
