'Configure network to automatically accept connections' is the one option in the vino preferences that I cannot really make any sense of. Unfortunately, it is not explained in the help files either...

As the tooltip says, it will open a port in the router via UPnP. However I coudln't find an easy way to show this info in that dialog.

We can:

1) improve that phrase and
2) mention that in the docs

I guess 'automatically accept' does not make me think of 'opening a port'

Fixed in commit 410bbf8e284409bdef02322af4d4a3a388419566 with the string ‘Automatically configure UPnP router to open and forward ports’.
