Description Nick Jenkins 2009-09-04 06:52:12 UTC
In the Mail view, under Edit -> Message Filters, can there please be added a "duplicate" or "copy" button, which makes an exact copy of the currently highlighted filter? This could be quite useful for more quickly adding multiple filters that are only slightly different.

Evo version 2.26.1

Comment 2 Nick Jenkins 2009-09-04 11:55:56 UTC
I don't think it's a dupe of bug 253244. Bug 253244 is about removing duplicated email messages, whereas this is requesting a way to make a duplicate of a filter - so I'll set the status to unconfirmed.

Comment 4 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:08:58 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
