Description Amahdy 2009-08-27 22:41:06 UTC
This bug-report come from this link:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/418810

I had a very big screen resolution, so a very big number of coordinates to which I can place icons on the desktop,
I placed one file in the top-right corner of the desktop, then I changed the resolution of the screen to a lower value, I then noticed that I can't see the file on the desktop.
I think this is because the icon coordinates was too big that no longer exists in my smaller resolution screen, though the file still exists in the desktop folder and I can manage to get it by "clean-up-desktop" but the bug comes here from gnome-desktop which was not able to reduce coordinates values after reducing screen-res.

Thanks!
