Error parsing log file

Created attachment 141710 [details] log from downstream of users log file Binary package hint: empathy I don't know how but I have managed to send the following characters in a "/me" message (I think I've copy/pasted them): `ǿ  Empathy fails parsing those characters, so any message included in the same log file is not shown anymore. Warning message: Failed to parse file:'/home/test/.gnome2/Empathy/logs/gtalk0/test@test.com/20090816.log' I'm attaching the problematic log file. Just drop it in a contact's log folder and go to "See previous conversations" to reproduce the error. please mark this fixed it does not exist in 2.29.5
Not sure. AFAIK we didn't change this code since a while so I doubt the bug is actually fixed.
I have just tested it and the logger can't parse it because that's not valid xml. So the problemwas in Empathy not escaping the logs properly. But the logger does that correctly now, so we can close this bug.
