Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-24 17:18:43 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Writer
2. Move focus inside any of the following combo boxes on the Formatting toolbar:
   a. Apply Style
   b. Font name
   c. Font size
3. Use Left/Right Arrow to move the caret

Expected results: Orca would present the new caret location.

Actual results: Orca first says "unselected" and then presents the new caret location.

This is due to our getting bogus events from OOo Writer's combo boxes. See http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=104470
Comment 1 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2010-04-02 21:20:06 UTC
Changing the status from 'blocked' to 'to verify' because the blocking bugs are
marked as fixed.

Note: Verification doesn't necessarily mean that Orca is doing the right thing
yet; merely that in theory we should be able to implement what we need to do
because we're getting the expected events and/or other information from OOo.

Well.... This seems partially fixed. The comment I just added to the blocking bug:

~~~~~~
joaniediggs->es Using OOo dev 3.3 m76 in OpenSolaris (build 134), I can verify the fix for Font Name and Font Size. But I'm still seeing the bug for Apply Style.
When you have the opportunity, could you please take another look? Thanks!
Eric took another look. He's not seeing the problem; and now I'm not either. <shrugs>
Verifying as fixed and closing this one out as NOTGNOME.
