Description marktraceur 2009-08-23 01:07:06 UTC
I have several friends who use AIM's "mobile" service, allowing them to remain logged in indefinitely and have IMs forwarded (via text) to their phones. These people generally show up in the AIM client and in other clients (Pidgin, Adium, even iChat) as being mobile users, generally defined by a small icon next to their name.

Empathy seems to not have this feature, and it would be nice to have...I never talk to those friends when they are on mobile, whereas I like to hear from them when they are signed on at their computers.

Thanks for your bug report. I'm closing it as a dup of bug 547658 as that's the
same issue.
