comparison eog vs. gwenview

This was reported for Mandriva Cooker against eog 2.27.90 and libjpeg 7 here:
https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=52960

eog displays the same image blurry, compared to gwenview which is also linked
against libjpeg 7 (see the attachment).

I don't have libjpeg 7 running here yet, but I think this is likely bug 588740.
