GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 591515
Draw keyboard indicator horizontally on vertical panels (if space allows)
Last modified: 2010-05-19 15:05:48 UTC
Bug 318775 fixed the keyboard indicator for some use cases, and broke it for others. If the panel is attached to the left or to the right, and it's wide enough, the keyboard indicator should be drawn normally, that is - horizontally. This is how the clock applet works, it switches from vertical to horizontal mode and the (vertical) panel width is increased. I will attach a screen-shot.
(In reply to comment #0) > mode and the (vertical) panel width is increased. mode *as* the (vertical) panel width is increased.
Created attachment 140513 [details] Screen-shot demonstrating the problem
Did you check the latest gnome? There is no indicator applet any more. There is status icon now.
Indeed, and it works fine on a vertical panel. Closing as FIXED.
