GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 591056
CSS color attribute not obeyed
Last modified: 2009-08-07 17:47:40 UTC
Please describe the problem: I have an email (in Evolution) with the following code. The specified color #FFFFFF is not obeyed and the text is displayed erroneously as black (on a blue background). It displays correctly in Firefox 3.5. Steps to reproduce: <table width="600" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="20" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#003E7E" valign="top" style="font-size:12px;color:#FFFFFF;line-height:120%;font-family:helvetica, arial; height: 30px;"> <span style="font-size:12px;font-weight:bold;color:#FFFFFF;font-family:helvetica, arial;line-height:110%;">The daily e-newsletter for faculty and staff members.</span> </td> </tr> </table> Actual results: The text is black. Expected results: The text should be white. Does this happen every time? Yes, it happens every time. Other information:
