Description paxcoder 2009-08-05 19:20:52 UTC
It should open the application in the workspace the user started it in.

Eg. if a user wants wants to open an application to play music in a workspace other than the current one, he then switches to another workspace, and starts it. If he manages to switch before an actual window appears, it won't open where user wanted it to open, but always in the current workspace, even though it might just be in the way there (it could be a workspace this hypothetical user works on). Then the said user has to send it back to where he wanted it - workspace other than the current one.

Other information:
I'm not really sure this is a workspace switcher problem, but whatever starts the app. If possible, please redirect to where it belongs (if not here). Thanks.

Confirm. I've noticed this too. Bug or not, it's not logical. The application should be comitted to the workspace it's started under.
