Description Jonathan Reeve 2009-08-04 21:18:26 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Every time I try to change my download directory in Edit->Preferences->General->Downloads->Download Folder, it says "File System." When I change it to another folder, it changes itself back to "File System," and as far as I can tell, files that I thought I had already downloaded are nowhere to be found. This is a serious problem, because now all the files I downloaded don't exist, and there's no way I can find to get these files into my "Downloads" directory.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Change the downloads directory.
2. Re-open Edit->Preferences.
3. Notice that the download directory has not changed.

Actual results:
Downloads directory never changes.

Expected results:
Downloads directory changes to the chosen directory/

Does this happen every time?
Every time I've tried it
