KDE has a really neat feature for the desktop wallpaper, which automatically integrates with www.KDE-look.org to allow preview and download of new wallpaper. This would be a nice feature to add to GNOME.

It's hard to describe exactly how this works, but to play with it in KDE3.5, do:
  right click desktop -> Configure Desktop -> Background ->Get New Wallpapers.

Hi. Sorry about the duplicate - I did search first, but the original bug report doesn't contain the string "gnome-look", which is the name of the website!

According to the 323323, the website doesn't yet exist. But 
http://gnome-look.org/  is very much in existence now (it's the counterpart of kde-look.org). So perhaps the patch can now be applied?
