Description georgehu 2009-07-10 20:50:09 UTC
I'm really expecting a decent cuesheet support in Rhythmbox. What is the current decision here? Is this feature should be in the upstream GStreamer? But their response shows "Apps currently do playlist processing themselves, so they should also do .cue file handling themselves. Don't expect a fix in GStreamer anytime soon". The Rhythmbox is by far my favorite player, but I have so many files (Classic CDs) made into cue sheet+flac/ape. I'm wondering when can I have this feature implemented.

No one is working on this, and as far as I know, no one is planning to work on this. I don't think it'd fit well into the existing database model, and I don't really have the time or motivation to fix that.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
