Excel and OOoCalc 3.1 have a feature where the syntax/usage of a formula appears as a tooltip as you write it in the cell or expression entry widget, or when you click/select such a formula.

This needs to work both in the expression entry widget at the top and in the cell itself, depending on which the user is using for editing formulas.
