Description James R Eagan 2001-08-06 20:47:51 UTC
Currently the "Look in" tab shows the name of the directory currently being
displayed. It would be more useful to show the full path to the directory,
or at minimum, apartial path to the directory. For example, the directory
/home/eaganj/files/pi/src would currently be displayed as "src." A more
useful display would be something like "/home/eaganj/files/pi/src" or
"~/files/pi/src" or ".../pi/src". This is useful for browsing directories
with similar structures. For example, in the current implementation, one
might become confused as to whether he is looking at .../pi/src or
.../e/src or .../sqrt2/src.

The gnome-file-selector product is being closed; bugs against the gtk 2.4 file
selector should be filed against gtk product/file-selector component.
