GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 586429
slow unfolding of directories
Last modified: 2010-03-11 08:43:35 UTC
Often I see a slow (or unusable) unfolding of directories from the file-manager. Infact clicking on the expander-arrow does not produce nothing. It just stays there. This affects also the Project tab.
Well, it does async so you may see that nothing happens but I will check if I can add a better "Loading" information.
The behaviour appears following these steps (I can always reproduce it): 1. open anjuta with a loaded project. 2. close the project. 3. create a new project 4. go on files or project tab. The 'unfolders' buttons are totally broken.
I thought it was a gtk issue, but it seems it isn't. I still have this behaviour with git master.
That's a different issues (and I still believe it is a gtk+ bug but not sure). I am sure I filed a bug about it in gtk+ but I cannot find it at the moment. Maybe they even fixed it while reworking GtkTreeModelFilter.
The behaviour is the same in debug-manager. I cannot unfold the data variables.
Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 566963 ***
