Description Nicolò Chieffo 2009-06-15 15:58:59 UTC
The text input entry in conversation windows should have undo/redo features.
Comment 1 Pierre-Luc Beaudoin 2009-06-19 02:04:11 UTC
What exactly would you like to undo? Sending messages, writing words, spellchecking, closing tabs?
Comment 2 Nicolò Chieffo 2009-06-19 07:43:11 UTC
Undo text changes in the input chat view.
It should work exactly as the text box in which I'm writing now.

I've done a search about it, and it seems that it's quite complicated to support (it's a shame that gtktextview doesn't support it by default).
Comment 3 Mihai Capotă 2009-10-26 10:29:53 UTC
I still see this bug in version 2.28.0.1 in Ubuntu 9.10.
Undo/redo for typing in the text input box is really missed.
Comment 4 Guillaume Desmottes 2012-07-09 07:01:16 UTC
I think it's out of scope of this entry's scope. It's meant to write short messages, not a long text (ie, it's not a text editor).
