GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 584960
Nautilus should remember a window resize in browser mode
Last modified: 2010-05-03 10:33:17 UTC
I don't know if this enhancement makes sense, but I think it would be nice that if a browser window has been opened and resized, the next time a browser window is opened, it should use the new size. I seem to remember it working this way recently but I could be wrong. Also, firefox does something similar to what I'm requesting.
This works just fine here using git master. Which version are you using? Could you please post some steps to reproduce the bug?
That's odd. I'm using version 2.27.1 in ubuntu 9.10. To make sure, I created a new user. I reproduce it in the new user account by: 1) Selecting the "Home Folder" under the "Places" menu. 2) Resizing the nautilus browser window to something smaller. 3) Closing the window. 4) Re-selecting the "Home Folder" under the "Places" menu. 5) The browser window opens with the same larger size that it opened with initially.
Maybe it's an ubuntu bug?
Not Ubuntu bug, the same problem in Fedora 11 with Nautilus 2.26.3.
