GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 584954
Reply to yourself
Last modified: 2009-06-06 08:49:03 UTC
Sometimes you miss something in a reply and want to complement that reply you sent to someone. If you select that message and click on Reply button, the destination of that message will be yourself. Such thing seams to be useless. As an example, Thunderbird takes the correct action, in my opinion, that is, if you are the destination of the message being replied, just take the sender as destination of the reply. Other information: English is not my primary language. Please ask me if this report are unreadable.
A mistake: in a reply Thunderbird takes the DESTINATION of the original message as destination of the reply if you are the SENDER of the message being replied. In another words, just make a copy of the sender and destination fields. Additionaly, Evolution does the expected action if I click on "Reply To All".
Yes, I would have also suggested to use Reply to All here.
