GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 584414
Paste special/don't change formulae doesn't work as expected for transposition
Last modified: 2018-05-22 13:32:27 UTC
I really need this. I need to transpose symlinks, so =A1, =A2, =A3, which exist in a row of cells, is pasted in another sheet as the same in columns, and vice-versa. I don't want the numeric results, I want the symlinks copied. Excel 2007 does not feature that one, guys!
Have you tried making the links use absolute references ? =$A$1 ...
You can also get the same effect using =Transpose(...) entered as an array function.
I guess what you really want is to have the literal formulas copied.
This is therefore a duplicate of bug #123326. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 123326 ***
I am reopening this because the fix of bug #123326 doesn't help yet. Selecting "Don't change formulae" avoids the formula change through translation but transposing and/or flipping still causes a change in formulae.
